Становлення польської історіографії щодо походження слов’ян у ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст.: між ідеологією та наукою

Анотація
Анотація. Метою статті полягає в історіографічному аналізі становлення польської історіографії щодо походження слов’ян у ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. і встановлення причин і шляхів її націоналізації, ідеологізації та політизації, на тлі посилення, здавалося б, на перший погляд, суто наукових суперечок між польськими та німецькими дослідниками у цьому сегменті пізнання багато в чому спільної для них минувшини. Наукова новизна. Польська історична наука розпочала своє становлення в загальноєвропейському контексті, що був зумовлений добою Просвітництва від середини XVIII ст. В ХІХ ст. на її специфіку вплинула втрата польської державності й той факт, що польська нація була розділена поміж трьома європейськими імперіями (Австрія, Пруссія, Росія) до завершення Першої світової війни. Тому питання походження польського етносу та нації, їхня етнічна історія набули першочергового значення для тогочасних польських учених. Проблема походження слов’ян стала визначальним фактором для побудови модерної національної ідентичності поляків. Тому від свого початку ця суто наукова проблема перетворилася в польській історіографії на творення нового міфу походження, котрий відразу перетворився на політичний міф. Висновки. Польська історіографія пройшла непростий шлях свого наукового ствердження, але її розвиток був типовим для тогочасних європейських шкіл у цій галузі. Найбільшою специфікою, якою відзначалася польська історіографія ХІХ – початку ХХ ст. Польська автохтоністська концепція походження слов’ян відразу зіштовхнулася з протилежним баченням проблеми з боку німецької історіографії. Остання демонструвала не менш потужний націоналістичний запал і шовіністичну вдачу, оголошуючи всіх слов’ян (і передусім поляків) в історичному контексті безкультурними варварами та оголошуючи германців єдиними гідними європейськими культуртрегерами. Опонуючи цій тенденції, польська історіографія в контексті проблеми походження слов’ян також стала більше пропагандистським інструментом, ніж осередком пошуку наукової об’єктивності у вирішенні цього питання. Протистояння цих двох підходів до давньослов’янської історії особливо загострилося на початку ХХ ст., у переддень Першої світової війни.
