Особливості вивчення битви під Охматовим 1655 р. у польській історіографії

Анотація
Анотація. Метою даної статті є вивчення особливостей зображення битви між польсько-татарським й козацько-московськими військами під Охматовим у 1655 р. у працях польських істориків другої половини ХІХ – початку ХХІ ст., визначення еволюції її історіографічного образу. Методологічне підґрунтя статті становить порівняльно-історичний аналіз історіографічних фактів, ґрунтуючись на принципах історизму та об’єктивності. У роботі використовувались загальнонаукові методи, як аналізу та синтезу, порівняння, систематизації, класифікації й порівняння, а також спеціально-історична методологія досліджень, зокрема історико-генетичного методу та критики історичних джерел. Наукова новизна статті полягає у відображенні першого у вітчизняних історіографічних студіях дослідження специфіки відображення подій битви під Охматовим у працях польських істориків. Висновки. У підсумку відзначено, що військова кампанія осені 1654 – зими 1655 рр. й Охматівська битва, що були частиною національно-визвольної війни українського народу середини XVII ст., чи не найбільш глибокого відображення знайшли у працях польських істориків, які працювали з другої половини ХІХ ст. й до сьогодення. У польській історіографії образ битви під Охматовим у 1655 р. пройшов певну еволюцію від доволі поверхових згадок у більш загальних дослідженнях історії Польщі, які з’являлися у працях ХІХ ст., до спеціальних досліджень подій військової кампанії кінця 1654 – початку 1655 рр. у роботах сучасних польських науковців. Зміни зазнали й оцінки істориками результатів Охматівської битви. Так у висновках істориків з ХІХ ст. вона бачилась однозначною перемогою польської сторони, однак уже на зламі ХІХ та ХХ ст. відбулась її переоцінка й дослідники вбачали у ній збройне зіткнення, яке не принесло рішучої переваги жодній із сторін, однак призвело до значних втрат. Сучасні дослідження виявляють відхід від безкритичного повторення образу подій, засвідченого у польських джерелах XVII ст., та різноманітних тенденційних антиукраїнських стереотипів, що часто мали місце у працях польських істориків ХІХ та першої половини ХХ ст., й переходу до докладного аналітичного вивчення теми, зображення її із позицій обох сторін конфлікту.
