Abstract

Abstract. The article examines the transformation of historiographic discourse and political anthropology in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and information platforms. The purpose of the investigation is to consider the problem of transforming discourse from a tool for description and interpretation into an autonomous environment and frame for manipulating mass and individual consciousness, as well as to clarify the correlation of human and machine agency in the context of the existing convergence of ideologies and the crisis of stable political systems in the context of modern geopolitical instability. The scientific novelty of the investigation lies in the conceptualization of metatheoretical recursiveness as a mechanism for the mutual influence of human and algorithmic discourses in the field of historical knowledge and the determination of political action. It is argued that modern historiographic discourse can function as a self-referential system in which the metatheoretical level is increasingly produced and moderated by algorithmic structures at the levels of factual description and narrative. The originality of the study lies in the problematization of the mechanisms of recursive interaction of historiographic discourse generated by human and machine agents, which acquires defining political and anthropological meanings. It is concluded that metatheoretical recursiveness is both a resource for critical reflection and a risk of ontologization of manipulative frames of the media space in relation to mass consciousness and collective imagination.
