Анотація

The article includes an overview of the main forms of memorialization Bogdan Khmelnitsky in Ukraine and beyond the means of monumental art, awarding him the name of social and cultural destination, an institution of state awards and banknotes. His name was given to the city, schools, industrial and agricultural enterprises. The important role played by museums. It tells the story of the construction of individual monuments at home Hetman in Kiev and other Ukrainian regions, indicating their authors and dates of construction.
It is pointed out that the study, promotion of life and activity of outstanding Ukrainian military, political and public figure gets a special urgency today. His name and state activities are in the spotlight of public life.
