ROME DENARII ON MOTRONYNSKIY SITE OF ANCIENT TOWN

Abstract

Annotation. The article deals with the complex of problems connected with the process of trade and economic bounds of autochthonous population of the Forest-steppe of Right-Bank of the Middle Dnieper territory with the antiquity. It is stressed on the considerable volume of duration and stability of those bounds. It is shown that economic relations have been based on the wide usage of the monetary means of payment. The origin and quantity of coins found on Motronynskiy site of ancient town and its environs (Kholodny Yar – Cold Ravine) are analyzed. To the point of view of a range of researchers, the Motronynskiy site played a part of a capital center of proto state formations of the local population of Right-Bank of the Middle Dnieper territory in the Greece-Rome times.
