Cooperation with the Ukrainian Diaspora in Russia as a priority of foreign policy of independent Ukraine

Abstract

Introduction. Since winning independence Ukrainian Foreign interest has grown not only in academic circles, but also political. The problem of cooperation between Ukraine with its own diaspora is one of the most important foreign policy of our country. More than ever now need support and protection of Ukrainian central institutions as the former Soviet Union in comparison with the western branch of the Ukrainian diaspora still ongoing creation of ethnic and cultural infrastructure of eastern diaspora. That’s why networking with the Ukrainian Russia remains one of the directions of foreign policy of Ukraine and requires careful study.

Purpose. The aim of our study is to determine the level of cooperation with Ukraine Diaspora in Russia through the prism of foreign policy of the Ukrainian state.

Results. The article deals with the formation of independent Ukraine relations and its Diaspora in Russia through the prism of cooperation with foreign Ukrainians. The analysis of the regulatory framework outlines areas of cooperation with Ukrainian community in Russia. The main obstacles to cooperation between Ukraine and the diaspora in Russia.

Conclusion. Therefore, it is expedient construction of specific tactics of interaction with the Ukrainian Russia aimed at developing social and humanitarian sphere. This, in turn, provides for the introduction of an open network of Ukrainian language education and media. Considering the number of eastern Ukrainian diaspora pressing need is to create a state agency empowered to solve problems of Ukrainian.
